A hidden gem! Beautiful peaceful gardens and a cafe with delicious food. There’s a small charity shop which has provided many treats for my children. I believe they’ve also opened up another small shop. The Blackthorn trust often host community events and we’ve enjoyed coming as a family. A very special place

I didn't realise this place as it was tucked away, so when I stumbled into Blackthorn I was amazed at the nature and beauty of the friendly atmosphere. As this place aids with mental health so it makes sense that the gardens are filled with colour and scents. The trust provides a wonderful, open cafe (run by volunteers), multiple charity shops, workshops and a greenhouse. It does feel like a secret garden and would recommend this place to all, including well-behaved dogs. 🌼
