Just spent a few days at Blacksmiths Cottage. Lovely cosy cottage with everything you need. Plenty hot water and comfortable bed. Had a lovely welcome from Fay, the housekeeper who keeps the cottage spotless . Although the pub itself was closed for 2 of the days, we had the beer garden to ourselves😄. We did have a lovely meal there on the last night cooked by Gary...great meal Gary..thank you. And thanks to Tom behind the bar for making us feel so welcome. So all in all a relaxing time there. It's also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommend.....thanks guys...Liz and Dave❤️

No mobile phone signal, and they refuse to give out the Wi-Fi password saying there isn’t any Wi-Fi, even though they advertise free guest Wi-Fi and theres a BT-hub 5 powered up on the shelf behind the bar.
