    My 1988 Strat Plus developed a forward bow in the neck. The 1st two techs didn't diagnose the issue, the 3rd did, but just told me to buy a new neck. The 4th suggested I fix it my self with clamps and heat treatment, but being a bit wary of DIY I looked around for another tech. Got lucky with Santiago at Blacksmith, I saw another review from someone he'd helped with the same problem so gave him call. Fixed the issue with no fuss and at a great price. Now have a playable guitar again, almost feels like a NGD! Whilst I was picking up the guitar decided to drop off another guitar that needed a little TLC, probably something I could do myself but haven't found the time. Figured it'd be in very safe hands. I've been mucked about loads over the years, good to find someone reliable and friendly at last.

    Santiago has done two phenomenal jobs on two of my guitars. My telecaster he turned from a plain finish into a heavy relic, completely changing the colour, finish and applying wear expertly. Making it look straight out of nashville. The second was my stratocaster which has seen many techs but none as invested as Santiago. Despite the neck having a naturally challenging shape he corrected the back bow, as well as the radius up and down the neck. He also did a fantastic refret. Throughout all of this he was constantly in touch, very friendly and sending progress photos. I have already recommended him to others and will continue too.
