I had previously had a difficult time selling my house. I changed to Blackshaw Homes after a very negative experience with another estate agent. So I was not feeling particularly confident. My first contact was with Fathom who came to value you my home. Again, she was very knowledgeable and reassuring. I felt like I could trust that the sale of my house was in capable hands. Throughout there has been open and reliable communication and I've been given sound advice. Thank you for all of your efforts in selling my house. I would definitely recommend Blackshaw to anybody.

I changed agents after a month as really didn't feel Blackshaws had any interest in selling my property. Once they'd signed me up all enthusiasm seemed to go. I had very few viewings and no feedback from them, when I phoned up I was lied to and told my flat was old fashioned and needed renovation! I swapped to another agent and had interest in it straight away. I wouldn't recommend Blackshaws.

We stayed in a property let by Blackshaws via our house insurance after we had a burst pipe. The house was found for us by the alternative accommodation agency and we couldn't have been happier. The house was fully furnished, newly decorated with all new appliances and furniture. It was warm, clean and comfortable with loads of space for everything that comes with a 3 month old baby!!! It was perfect as we were able to bring our dog with us too and after not finding anyone to help care for our rabbit during our stay, she also was in the garden which was well maintained and very secure. The work on our property took much longer than expected and Perry was kind enough to extend our stay 4 more times!! The entry to the property was via an app and each time the access expired due to work overrunning on our property, Perry was able to immediately help and extend the access- even at 5pm on a Sunday. The service from the staff, and the quality of the property was brilliant and would definitely recommend.

Bought a property through Blackshaw last year. Unfortunately they won't take any responsibility for misleading information in the advert and now basically denying anything their staff said. Proceed with caution and check everything. Not a member of the NAEA. No visible complaints process on their websites
