Super lovely reception staff and the vets are very friendly and thorough, they didn't even mind me having a cry at reception due to the emergency with my little 4 month old pup. Really happy with their service

Excellent and reasonably priced. Bob loves going to the practice. I think it may be partly due to the very friendly first visit as a puppy. He also loves the treats! Soon forgives the vet if some discomfort is inevitable.

The vets at Blackheath are amazing. We switched from our previous van because the old vet didn’t really provide us with information whenever a dog had issues. The vets here are very tentative and gives you good explanation to help you understand the problem better.

We feel very fortunate to have found our vet, Alan van Heerden, whom we have used for 7 ½ years for our two standard poodles. He is the perfect vet, with excellent knowledge, skills, and judgment, and great experience. He explains things well to us, and we always trust his diagnoses and treatments. Also, there is excellent support staff who contribute to the good experience of coming here, as well as other good vets. We highly recommend this veterinary surgery and Alan van Heerden.
