FAQ

How do you source your honey and ensure its quality?

We source our honey from our own Blackbury Honey Farm, as well as from other local beekeepers who we trust to provide quality honey. We ensure its quality by regularly testing our honey for purity and by maintaining high standards in our beekeeping practices.

What types of honey do you offer and what are the differences between them?

We offer a variety of honey types, including wildflower, heather, and creamed honey. The differences between them lie in their flavor profiles and consistencies. Wildflower honey has a more floral taste, while heather honey has a more robust flavor. Creamed honey is thicker and smoother than traditional honey.

Do you offer any organic or raw honey options?

Yes, we offer both organic and raw honey options. Our organic honey is certified by the Soil Association, meaning it is produced using environmentally friendly and sustainable practices. Our raw honey is unprocessed and retains all of its natural enzymes and nutrients.

Can you provide information on the sustainability practices used in your honey production?

We are committed to sustainable beekeeping practices and prioritize the health and well-being of our bees. We use natural pest management methods, avoid the use of pesticides, and prioritize the preservation of local wildflowers to provide a diverse and healthy diet for our bees.

What is your return policy for honey products?

We strive to provide high-quality honey products and we stand behind them. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will work to resolve the issue. We do not accept returns of opened honey jars due to food safety regulations.

Such a shame the owner is quite hostile with his manner . My husband came to the disabled parking area to pick me up as I couldn’t get back to the car on my walking stick. Our little dog had been in the car while we had lunch. We have to take her with us as we are not allowed to leave at the holiday home we have so no choice. My husband had her on a short lead while he waited for me to come out of the loo to give her some fresh air . I presume the owner came over and said no dogs and to put her in the car NOW. There was no need to be so hostile there was no one in the car park just him and us . Won’t be back or the group we were with . Such a shame .

Would give zero stars if I could. Although we had displayed a valid disabled badge, we were told that my son was not disabled enough and had no right to park there. ‘Ken’ was extremely rude. Don’t waste your money here. There is no place in this world nowadays for such narrow minded views. Be kind to everyone and have acceptance of all disabilities.

Disgusting place; staff have a terrible attitude, experienced disability discrimination which will be reported. Avoid this place at all costs. When informed that I would be leaving a bad review I was informed I wouldn’t be the first!!
