Many thanks to Black tie at Crowthorne!!. With only a couple of days to go before the DGR, I went to see Jamie and Michael at Black tie in Crowthorne and gave them the almost impossible task of making me look good for the distinguished Gentlemans ride! I remain astounded by their professional and kind response! When the guys found out that I would be taking part in the distinguished Gentlemans ride, which would be raising awareness of prostrate cancer and rasing funds, they responded thus! Within half an hour, they had measured me up, made the alterations and got me ready to ride in style. Sadly, I'm still as ugly as normal, but the suit looks fantastic! When it has to be right, these are the guys to call!

After an initial meeting at the shop to find a suitable wedding suit decided to pay a deposit to confirm the date, end of September. Today (5 months before wedding) phoned to cancel the order because have unfortunately had to move away from the area and now live 2hrs drive away. There was zero customer service and all they were interested in was keeping the deposit, not open to discussion, and speaking to the owner he had no compassion. Be warned that there is £40 charge if you cancel your order, apparently it is in the changing rooms! I would strongly recommend finding an alternative place to hire your suits from, especially after the poor customer service I have just received by the owner and inability to reimburse a deposit, even for a rental that is so far out in the future.

This is a business run by a team who clearly know exactly what is needed. In the run-up to our wedding, we were renting tuxedoes for the groomsmen and had originally selected a well-known high-street brand (you know the one). What ensued was nothing less than farcical, trying to arrange suit sizing, not having the right styles, I could go on. We cancelled that order and with relatively short notice (in wedding terms) we sought an alternative. We found Black Tie and were immediately impressed - they were everything the other business wasn't; organised, helpful, responsive and full of advice. I won't go into too much detail, but suffice to say they were fantastic from start to finish, with great customer service, a healthy range of suit styles, and just generally helping us get back on track (even down to helping out with a minor issue on the day itself...) Five stars and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
