Stopped by for a light lunch and a beer or two. The Croque Monsieur was excellent and accompanied by some really good chips (pretty rare these days). Interesting selection of local ales. Sunny terrace out front slightly spoiled by the racket from the dog-grooming parlour opposite. The interior looked cosy and comfortable.

Walkability: The back entrance is step free. Food & drinks: Really good choice of beer, cider and alcohol free. This pub has a good atmosphere & nice friendly staff. Noteworthy details: The front terrace is a lovely sun trap; slightly elevated above the street for a bit of privacy and lovely views over the village.

Off the main market square we found this place and sat at an available table. After looking at the menu ordered a couple of fish butties and a croque monsieur. There seemed to be a very long wait for the food, which was due to a large party. The food was nice when it arrived, but very expensive for what it was and for this reason would not return.
