Had a fabulous meal here on Saturday night. Made use of the pickup service, available in the Ripon and Boroughbridge areas, which I hope they continue. One of the best ever filet steaks cooked perfectly. All the food was delicious. Liquor coffee made as it should be. Very friendly service. Then dropped off back at our pickup point at the end of the evening.

Great welcoming pub. Exterior looks a little plain but interior is plush and modern. We popped in for a drink and the man behind the bar was welcoming!

Just stopped by this pub for a Sunday lunch as our daughter woke up during a long journey from Scotland in a foul mood, so we needed to get off the road asap. Food was delicious and the host was brilliant, as was the server. Long story short we were back on the road, with a happy daughter in no time. Service : 4/5 … More

Went for Sunday lunch after reading the great reviews. 5 of us ate but unfortunately the food was a let down. Very little veg, 2 slices of carrot and 2 slices of roast parsnip. Pork was fatty as was the beef. Turkey had no stuffing. We kept expecting more veg to come out but none arrived. Not very often I have a Sunday lunch and leave disappointed but in this case I drove home hungry
