Lovely lake, this was my second visit and once again was an absolute pleasure fishing the top lake ( 4 good size carp ). Bailiff / owner is a lovely fella and for that reason plus the carp and tranquility of the place that I can see myself becoming a lot more regular. Very reasonable prices compared to other lakes in this area. Well worth a trip I'd recommend this place to any sensible angler

I had a great time at my first visit to the lake. I moved to the bottom lake and caught a fish straight away. I caught five nice carp, but sadly lost two. I can't wait to go back!

Fished the Top Lake here in June last year with my bro and had an amazing day (thought this carp fishing lark was easy haha) - I had 5 doubles and 1 nice tench and my bro had 4 doubles. Great lakes and really polite and helpful bailiff. Been back since and I only caught 1 all day and my bro blanked :) lol (So its not so easy!!!)..... Planning on fishing the bottom lake soon.... Wish me luck!!!...

Great venue, nice surroundings, plenty parking and friendly helpful bailiff. Fished top lake twice and blanked both times. Since then have been fishing bottom lake and never blanked. The carp seem to average around 12lb but have had 1 out at 17lb.

Despite calling 4 days ahead and asking for availability I was assured there would be room to fish and to just turn up at 7am. Hmm not a swim to be had for day tickets. 1 1/2 hours wasted drive. In this day and age is it to much to have a booking system? Extremely poor organisation.
