Second time I call as soon as it hits 8AM to get an appointment only to get to my turn and get hung up on. I called today first thing and was number 10 on the queue, got hung up on and had to call back only to be number 24 on the queue. This is ridiculous! This is the 3rd time this has happened. It makes you feel absolutely hopeless, how is a person working a full time job meant to work around this system?

Absolute joke!!!! rang the surgery as soon as the phone lines opened to find I was No21 in the queue! I waited on hold for 27 minutes before my call was answered I wanted to make an appointment to see MY doctor, was told he works part time and was not in surgery that day. I asked to make an appointment for the following week when he was in, I was told I couldnt do that as the computer said no and I would have to call again on the day, They told me they cant make appointments in advance, absolutely ridicules. The receptionist seemed bored and disinterested and was even coughing down the phone, not very pleasant I havent seen the doctor in over 4 years, I am over 55 years old and have NEVER been offered a wellness check up. Disgusting way to operate

Rude and condescending receptionists that can't wait to get you off the phone after having waiting god knows how long. Nobody seems to solve problems, you just get passed around. Actually getting to see a GP is made into a full on mission
