I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to deal with Birchover Reclamation. Unlike so many companies these days, they welcomed my custom, gave me a good price, went out of their way to organise a more difficult than usual delivery, and were “on the ball” in every way 👍, even checking I’d received my product and was happy. We were looking for old stone to build a fireplace and found this reclamation yard on google. Lee was super helpful and went out of his way to help us choose the stone which was right for us, even dropping off a piece on his way home to try and numerous calls to discuss our design before cutting. The end result, 3 beautiful pieces which we're over the moon with. Thank you Lee!!

I have been to the yard in Middleton three times now to select stone for three different minor building projects (garden wall, paving, conservatory wall). Each has had different and specific requirements relating to exact size and type of reclaimed stone to match existing old stonework. On each occasion, either Paul or Lee has taken the time and care to listen carefully (and cheerfully) to what I required and then I have left it with them to select the stone and have it cut to size. It has then been delivered within a day or so and is exactly how I wanted it. The delivery guys have then unloaded the stone (several wagons' worth) and then left the stone exactly where I needed it on site. The stone-masons have been impressed with the quality of the stone and its cut as well. And at a good price too! The service is excellent and friendly and they are clearly a community-minded team. Highly recommended.
