The meat is pricey- which is fine if you're offering a higher quality butchery service alongside it. We ordered meat over the phone and Amjad was the butcher we dealt with. Upon receiving the meat, we noticed that the lamb was not prepared correctly- all the fat and gristle was left on the lamb and we were charged for this as part of the weight. When we informed Amjad, he said it wasn't his responsibility to ask us if we wanted all the extra fat on or off. We told him that we will be returning the lamb and we would like a refund. Amjad stated (breaking the law) that we wouldn't be receiving a refund and we can do whatever we want to do. They can charge whatever they want to charge but they need to make sure their service standards live up to their pricing.

I have tried every meat shop around Birmingham and family butchers is probably the best one in Birmingham Maa Shaa Allah the service is amazing and the meat is always on point the lads are friendly respectful always going a little extra, Azam and Amjad are Top lads Keep up the Amazing work your providing I Salute you boys. This a Halal Butchers. Very clean and polite salesmen. One can buy frozen fish, fresh chicken and fresh meat at reasonable prices. There is road side parking and bus stop nearby.
