We had a pretty huge job for a semi detached property; to remove several overgrown conifers from our back garden. Access was a passage less than a metre wide at the side of the house and 2 of the quoters just did not want to take it on (one quoted more than triple our cheapest quote, the other just said no way). Looking at Birches Tree Surgery reviews, i was a bit sceptical, since noone had put anything less than 5 stars. Either they were amazing or had paid for fake reviews... Turns out they are amazing and definitely earned my 5 stars. Why? Yes they were punctual, professional, very tidy and very efficient but what REALLY stood them out was that we basically had a 3 day storm (mid May 2021) of high winds, torrential rain and hail from the moment they started. Now, I would have expected them to stop and reschedule, but nope. They kept on going and not one of the lads had anything other than smiles on their faces. We are so happy with the work done and my garden and drive is cleaner than before they started. I wish all tradesmen shared the ideals these guys work to, i really do. If you choose Birches Tree Surgery, you wont be disappointed.

Jon and his team have removed a large silver birch from our front garden and 4 or 5 old trees from our back garden today. Jon came to give us a very competitive quote and his suggestions, they turned up exactly when they said they would and all the guys were very professional and polite. They have in fact, left our gardens tidier than when they arrived! We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Birches Tree Surgery for anyone needing work on their trees.

Jon and his team have done an amazing job with the large sycamore tree in our garden. We were offered excellent advice when we were given our quote. The team turned up on time and did a very conscientious job. They were so polite and made sure we we were happy with the work at each stage of the process. The final result is excellent and we now have lots of light in the garden. They left the garden just as they had found it. I would recommend them highly and hope to welcome them back when we need further work done.

I highly recommend this firm. They tackled a hedge which had been neglected for many years. It had become a beast. Jon spent a long time assessing the job and talking to the owners of adjoining properties. I new it was going to be expensive but he explained what needed to be done and I felt confident I was not going to be ripped off. The job turned out to be more than he anticipated as a result of work done on the hedge previously, but he kept to the quote. He and his team got on with the job efficiently and conscientiously. I was amazed how much debris they had to remove. When they finished they cleaned up and did not leave behind even a sprig. Fantastic firm. I will be using them again to tackle beast 2, the front hedge, next year and to trim beast 1 to keep it in shape. It is not often you find firms like this these days. Good old fashioned customer care.

This is a highly professional team of knowlegeable and hard-working tree-surgeons. Our competitive quote for the work was given immediately on the first visit. The team arrived punctually both days, carried out the work to an extremely high standard, and went above and beyond with protecting the garden and tidying up afterwards. All branches and clippings were shredded on site. The trees were trimmed and shaped with care. All in all we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.
