Worst opening times I've ever seen for a company. You would think it was a small post office counter in a sleepy village in the middle of nowhere, not a main delivery centre for York. Only 2 hours each morning during the week and 4 hours on a Saturday. Sort it out Royal Mail this service is a disgrace.

Despite what Royal Mail website and Google indicate, this branch is closed on Bank Holidays. There are no notices outside the building either, to advise on closures.

Dreadful service. Such ridiculously limited opening hours. Wasted my time yet again. Miles out of my way. Postcode on card doesn’t even take you to the destination. Will remember to arrange redelivery in future. Also postie attempted delivery when we were actually in but that’s another matter for complaint. Please do better!

I'm on my fourth attempt to collect a parcel from Birch Park Depot but frustratingly the opening hours on Google and the royal mail website are incorrect. I was one of many people turning up today, only to find it closed when it should be open. Google I can understand, but your own website? I even tried to call ahead to confirm the opening hours as I no longer trusted their website, but there was a 30 minute queue. One day I might get my hands on my parcel.....

Maybe our local posties just don’t like our house. This week they’ve really surpassed themselves by leaving an expensive package that was delivered ‘signed for’ in the bin. Who signed for it? A spider perhaps… I’d complain but I’m awaiting a return call from a month ago from the complaints team after complaining about lost mail. Anyone know how you log a complaint against the complaints team? I’ll just stop complaining I guess and accept it. Hope the strike goes well this week Royal Mail ✊ (Haxby, York)

New opening times as of 7th Sept 2022. I arrived @ 10:30 today (Wednesday) and they informed me they were closing but thankfully they let me quickly pick up a parcel as I had walked there. Very grateful!

Dreadful. Truly dreadful so called service! I used to work for Eastern District Office in Whitechapel, London E1. We prided ourselves on answering the telephone within 2/3 rings. Thursday post never turned up until 15:30! Friday, Never saw a postie at all! It's not good enough, so I will be having a word with my MP, Julian Sturdy...
