After yesterday getting blood's done, they tried and missed all big veins then Dropped the butterfly needle on the floor, no swabs or anything were used and they still used the dirty needle after picking it up to take my blood's. It had already been used on a few attempts, so would have been quite blunt but to still use it after being on the floor was what shocked me. I ended up taking my own which is common for me and I prefer doing it as they always struggle getting blood's even the Doctors struggle. I can forgive them for not being able to get my blood's but using a unhygienic needle with covid and other germs? Well I don't know to say? Any other time they've tried for blood's, they've always used a fresh needle after a couple of attempts. The nurses were nice but surely a needle that's been on a dirty floor should have been disposed of?

This morning the 10th October I have tried to contact Burbeck Medical group to make an appointment for my partner, who has been un well for the last two week, to see a Doctor. I began calling at 0830 and gave up having failed to get through after 20 minutes at 0850. The line is constantly engaged and during the 20 minutes that I tried to contact the group I have dialled the number 120 times. I then considered E mailing but find the the practice does not allow E mail contact but you can create and sign in to an account. I have attempted to do this only to find that my E mail address has to be verified before I may make contact and that this will take until 20th October. Clearly this service is terrible and it is not acceptable that a patient cannot make contact with their Doctor.
