I only come into this post office out of absolute necessity as there is only the one left in Ilkley. I would rather pay to drive to post office in Menston as lady who works there is faultless and friendly. Back to the Ilkley post office then. Cannot fault the chaps who work there as they do a sterling job. As mentioned on the other reviews, lord knows how the older lady (often found on the far-right counter) still has a job there as customer service is quite clearly not her forte and wonder why this is her choice of employment? Grumpy, her attitude absolutely stinks, moany, talks under her breath, would quite clearly not rather be there and has got a very rude demeanour to put it mildly. I can only assume that she must be directly involved with running this business, as she ruins the feel of the whole post office. Feel bad leaving a 1 star review as the rest of the persons who work here are fine but this one person ruins the whole ambience of the post office.

The new management are great. Consistent opening hours which is so useful (compared to how it was before) since I need to work around my job. All three staff members I've met (two men and a lady) are so friendly and helpful. I visit regularly to send my eBay parcels and they're always nice, everytime I visit.
