My adult son, 6’4”, complete with beard, went to a test centre, gave his ID, which clearly states that he is a man. The results came through, at 11:59pm, which we accessed on the way to the airport early the next day. We realised that Biogroup had him down on the certificate as Ms and a female. Luckily, we had arrived several hours early and I was able to get through on a mobile and was told that a new FIT TO FLY would be issued asap, and emailed to my son. Thirty minutes later, I began calling again and they refused to pick up the mobile call. I tried numerous times, tried calling the main 'office' number, to no avail. My son was travelling overseas for a new job and was stressed beyond belief - he almost didn't get on the plane, just due to stress. We were able to get a lateral-flow at the airport, at additional cost, but this was not necessarily going to be useful when he arrived. As he was in flight for 8 hours, I tried to get in touch again to ask them to re-issue a correct certificate whilst he was on the plane, by email, which he could show the authorities upon landing. No response whatsoever, nor to my voicemail and text complaints afterwards. Exceptionally poor.
