FAQ

What is the adoption process for animals at your shelter?

At Binfield Dog Rescue, our adoption process starts with an application form, followed by a home check to ensure that the potential adopter is a good fit for the animal. Once approved, we arrange a meeting between the adopter and the animal. If all goes well, we finalize the adoption with an adoption fee and paperwork.

Are there any adoption fees, and if so, what do they include?

Yes, there is an adoption fee for our animals, which varies depending on the animal's age and other factors. The fee includes the animal's vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery if necessary. It also goes towards the cost of caring for the animal while it is in our shelter.

How do you ensure the health and well-being of animals in your care?

We have a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who provide daily care and attention to our animals. We also work with local veterinarians to ensure that they receive any necessary medical treatment. Our facilities are regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the animals.

Do you provide any training or support for new pet owners?

Yes, we offer support and guidance for new pet owners. This includes advice on training, behavior, and general care for the animal. We also provide resources such as informational pamphlets and access to trainers or behaviorists if needed.

How can I support your shelter through donations or volunteering?

Thank you for your interest in supporting Binfield Dog Rescue! We accept donations of money, supplies, and time. You can donate directly through our website or by contacting us. We also have a volunteer program, where you can help with tasks such as walking dogs, cleaning, and socializing with the animals. Please contact us for more information on how you can help.

I was after another GSD and Binfield dogs trust did provide. I went for a 3 day meeting with the dog and they explained all the issues it had. I have had the dog now for a week and the training is gladly kicking in. Binfield dog rescue can only do so much with a dog to ensure a respective home can be available where they can be looked after and supported with the issues they my have. Regards Edward & Natalie
