Richard Davies
Billericay Chess Club is a small, friendly club, and we welcome players of all ages and abilities for friendly games, league matches, good conversation and refreshments on Wednesday evenings. During this period of lockdown it's not been possible to meet in person, however the chess club are holding virtual club nights, also on Wednesday evenings, where we've been able to play friendly games while talking to each other online. One evening we analysed a game together, with each member able to annotate the position and share their ideas with everyone else, so it was like being in the same room looking at a position together! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a chess club to consider Billericay Chess Club during this period of lockdown and beyond! We look forward to meeting you soon.
