I've spent the last couple of weeks with Steve whilst he sorted my existing bike out, fitted me for my new bike and then had me back to set ip the new bike once I'd purchased it.. it's great to find someone who knows his stuff, doesn't try to oversell and goes the extra mile to help. I highly recommend the bike fitting service, my new bike feels great now it's size and geometry suits my size and shape.

thumbsup Steve fitted a new rear cassette, chain, brake pads and reindexed my gears. It rides like a new bike for a fraction of the cost of buying a new bike. HURRAH. Overall really pleased and will be using again.

Today was the third time I have used Bikefixers since moving to the region (and country). So far I have only had good experiences. Booking is easy, work is done promptly and no issues at all with the quality of work. Replaced rear derailleur and chain today with them and went riding tonight. All good. Update on 30 March 2022 - again took in for bearings which I knew had failed on a 2013 Cannondale MTB. Solved in one day and Steve checked all of the rest while the sway-bay was taken out. Reasonable pricing and great turn-around. Still a happy client

Bad experience. Took mountain bike in for £60 service. Steve text me to say that the bike needed a new chain, cassette and gear cables, which in total took the price to £149.95. I gave Steve the go ahead, I was grateful for the text to advise of the price change. On collecting the bike and taking it home, I was excited to ride it which I did. I took the bike out and it rode terribly; I couldn’t find particular gears and the chain kept slipping. I got 1/2 mile from home and had to walk the bike home because it was unrideable. The friend I was riding with noticed that the chain was stiff in multiple areas which was causing the jumping of gears. I contacted Steve that evening and arranged to take the bike back the next morning. After taking the bike back, Steve said it could not be the chain because it was brand new, however, it was a faulty chain. Steve corrected this and the bike now rides slightly better. The other disappointment was the price I was charged for the cassette and chain fitted (£60) by Steve. I could have got these exact parts online for £28 collectively. Steve was pleasant but I had a bad experience and will not be using Bike Fixers again.

Steve did a great job of servicing and repairing my Boardman Hybrid after a recent accident. I’ve had all the bikes in our family serviced here over the years. Steve will always inform you of any additional work that may need to be done and the costs involved. I would highly recommend Bikefixers for all your servicing and repair needs. A very friendly, knowledgeable and likeable local business.

Great service on our two e-bikes, with full computer diagnostics and parts replacement where necessary. Really professional job. Great communication and easy to deal with. Already made a further booking for our two self-propelled cycles, also for a service. Thanks, Steve!
