Not something I've had to deal with before but we needed some extra space for a couple of weeks and the process couldn't be easier. Enter reception, decide on a size, fill in a few details and fit your padlock. Don't forget some photo id though.

It’s a storage lockup and does what it says on the tin but staff are always on hand and helpful. Place is always clean and tidy. Well lit secure carpark if you have to visit during the evening.

Great recovery. I took a 75sq m unit for a short period with out of hours service. Went back the following evening to store my goods but had no entry as my account had been suspended. Fearing the worst I rang Big Yellow. Due to a minor admin problem they had suspended my account because I had not put a lock on my empty unit. Only problem was they did not tell me. Having said that when I arrived and rang them they contacted a local key holder and withing 15 minutes all issues were resolved and I was in. Gavin was excellent and very apologetic. It's not how you make a mistake its how you recover from it. Excellent Big Yellow, great recovery. Look forward to the rest of my rental. Cautionary tale, make sure you lock your unit as soon as all the formalities are complete.
