Good selection but extortionately priced unfortunately... Based on Whiskeys. You are charging £37 for a bottle of Dubliner that you van buy anywhere for £24. I treated myself to a bottle but after checking it out I felt robbed!

Lovely little shop in Windemere, friendly and helpful staff. I called ahead to see if they had any mead in stock and the helpful person who answered let me know that they indeed did have some. Good selection of champagne, wines, beers and spirits. Was surprised at the price of the mead, it was very cheap. Will be visiting again if I return to the area 😊 thank you

Been meaning to write this review for a while. I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of both knowledge and customer service when I popped in to take a look at what was on offer when I was visiting the Lakes. I presume the blonde middle aged woman I spoke with must of been the owner as otherwise the sheer arrogance, rudeness and ‘looking down the nose at you behaviour’ displayed would of had her fired immediately (at least if she was working for me) - certainly needs some manners, common sense, lessons on business acumen and one hell of a reality check. I do not recommend in the slightest and you’re better off taking a walk just up the road to Booths to get most of the same stuff (if not better) from there for a lot cheaper.

Was very excited to try this place out. Went in and was disappointed with the level of knowledge. I asked about recommendations and the response I got was 'this wine is fine'. Its shame, I really want to support small business but this was a disappointing experience.
