Myself and my daughter joined this fully active dive club just over two years ago, after a try dive. I was an experienced scuba diver and my daughter learned to dive with them. The training was excellent and fast, the club made us both very welcome. We have since enjoyed going on several great dive trips.

Joining as a complete novice and new comer to diving, having only done a try dive whilst in holiday, I can't praise this club enough, a very social, friendly and welcoming group of people and excellent instructors helping me through my qualifications. Even though I have been with the club for only a few months the instructors always want to better your knowledge and encourage new members to take on some of the roles within the committee, helping you get a further understanding of diving and the club itself. Chorley BSAC have been brilliant at getting me through training, from novice to Sports Diver in a year with lots of opportunities to dive in interesting places. The membership ranges from the casual recreational diver to the committed technical diver so there’s always something new to learn from somebody new in a friendly club setting. Most training dives take place in the close by Ecclestone Delph, or Capenwray quarries, with regular trips out to sea on the club RHIB, and the pool in Leyland available weekly to try out new kit and configurations. The club is very happy to lend out kit to get new divers started and there is a wealth of experience from single tank to rebreathers to keep going with.

I've been involved with the club for just over 12 months mainly as an instructor of the BSAC syllabus. I have been made to feel extremely welcome and part of the team of diving friends. At the weekly club meets there always seems to be a dive or a social being planned. If you want to progress or not, do technical or recreational diving, help or be helped, live locally or nationally - Chorley Sub Aqua Club is for you.
