Absolutely love the food here, however the portions have got very small recently, it’s becoming very uneconomical to go for dinner here. Mains now cost £22 but it’s the size of a tapas plate. Breakfast or just snacks is much better value

Vegetarian options: A large range of vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Saw plenty of children from 4 years old up, all seemed to be enjoying the food.

Rebranded as Jolene. But it’ll always be Big Jo to me. Great coffee, bakery and Roman-style pizzas.

Very good food, lovely waitress. But seriously overpriced. Also, bizarrely for this part of North London, the waitress seemed really surprised to be asked if they had anything vegan. She came back a few minutes later, having asked the chef, who had crossed out almost everything on a copy of the menu, which felt very pointed. Even crossed out the butter part of “bread and butter”. I could imagine him/her muttering under their breath “****ing vegans“ as they did so. Vegetarian the same.
