    FOOD POISONING is what we got last week after a family meal at BE King's Rd. My 3 year old daughter had chicken strips and a milkshake, which she ended up severely vomiting soon after. She started complaining about her tummy hurting within an hour of eating the meal and turned from a happy bubbly child to one crying, being upset and very poorly. My husband was really struggling digesting his food and he did share her milkshake so I suspect the drink was off because as soon as he was sick he felt much better. We contacted the restaurant immediately only to be told that they have over a thousand 5* reviews and our experience is irrelevant. The manager of the place simply referred us to their food consultant, who said that the restaurant reassured them no one else complained so they don't see the need to inspect the premises nor food/hygiene standards. It's not just the food that was bad - one of the toilets was soiled and left unattended/in that state, overall toilets were incredibly smelly and gross. Table sticky, not properly wiped, service was slow, unattentive even though it was a quiet Monday dinner time. I used to frequent this place for years as lived round the corner and I cannot believe how run down and aweful it has become.Frankly, anyone giving this place a good review nowadays are either friends of staff or have very different food/service standards.

    I didn't expect to see an American Jazz and BBQ spot in Chelsea. Now to be honest, I was not expecting much. Boy, was I surprised!!! My group had a pretty good sample of the menu....all were quite happy. In fact, many rated this their best meal in London.
