I switched to Biffa from a company i used for years that i had no issue with however Biffa approached me with a price that saved me money (at the time) so i decided to use them. I wish I looked more into the t&c's. after saving some money in the first few months my original price dramatically increased more then the company i used before. I called to ask why and they said that my bin was overweight all the time. Firstly if it was overweight, why did the company i used before not do this to me and secondly, cardboard and plastic packaging is not heavy. I asked to cancel the service as i knew i was been played but they have threatened me with a £800 termination charge. Disgusting. Please look into the contract before you sign.
