  We weren’t really sure what kind of wedding we wanted, so we went to The Gay Wedding Show to see what sort of thing to expect and if anything stood out to us. We spoke to a few vendors, and Bex was one of them. After speaking with her for a few minutes, we immediately knew that our wedding absolutely needed a celebrant and Bex had to be the one! She filled us with confidence and excitement about her ability to deliver a personal, sweet, and fun wedding ceremony. She was also incredibly welcoming, treating us both with respect and warmth from the beginning. In the lead up to the wedding day, Bex made sure to check in with us about what we wanted on the day and was instrumental in ensuring it went the way that we wanted. Her support in helping us create our vows was also invaluable, as she gave us structure that enabled us to articulate our love for each other. Bex’s organisation and creativity during this time was a huge help to lower the stresses we had about the other aspects of the wedding – it was a relief to know we could rely on her for some of the more practical things we hadn’t even considered, like what music we wanted to walk down the aisle to. She was also packed full of helpful advice, which no doubt comes from having successfully been a celebrant at other weddings! Bex carried out her role perfectly on the day, making our guests cry, laugh, and rejoice with us as we tied the knot (metaphorically and literally, with Bex’s help!). Several guests assumed she was a friend of ours; she seemed to know us so well. We were able to let the day happen and enjoy it to the fullest, knowing that the logistical side of things would be taken care of by Bex. She also worked really well with our photographer, liaising with him so that all the important memories were captured – sometimes with her expertly diving out of the way to avoid being in a shot. We have already recommended Bex to people we know who have just gotten engaged, and some of our guests have even changed their minds about a wedding for themselves, having seen that it can be creative and tailored exactly to the happy couple with the help of a competent celebrant. Overall, Bex had the best vibes and great style! If you are currently engaged, we would wholeheartedly urge you to consider Bex as a celebrant for a moving, memorable, and merry wedding ceremony.

  We decided we wanted a celebrant wedding after seeing Bex's page. We had a gut reaction and knew we wanted her instantly and made sure the dates aligned with her schedule before we sorted the venue. We knew our wedding would not be the same without her. From the zoom proposal up to the wedding day Bex felt like an old friend, checking in with our daily life but also maintaining her professionalism. She put so much hard work and effort into making the ceremony exactly what we wanted. Bex made our wedding ceremony everything we hoped it could be and more! We were most excited for it and everyone said to us how much it reflected who we are as a couple. It has even made family reconsider how they would want to be married.   We cannot recommend Bex enough!! Book her for your ceremony now! We knew we wanted a celebrant-led ceremony, as we were hoping for a fun, relaxed, party that felt very personal and we knew we didn’t want a traditional or religious ceremony. I had followed Bex on Instagram for a while and always thought she seemed like such a fun, bubbly person - and I was right! So she was always going to be our first choice when we came to book a celebrant. We contacted her well in advance of the wedding and she got back to us straight away. We knew immediately after our first Zoom call that she would give us a great ceremony, so booked her ASAP! The booking process and all the admin was very straight forward and professionally managed. There was quite a long period where we didn’t give the ceremony too much thought and other wedding planning took over; however Bex always made us feel like she was available for any questions or worries. She also sent us the occasional inspo which gave us food for thought about what we wanted our ceremony to contain. Then it came time to answer the questionnaires so that Bex could write the ceremony! Bex was so right that the questionnaires were such a nice opportunity to sit down with each other, reflect on all the good times we’ve had together and really focus on the WHY we were getting married, which can sometimes get lost in the stress of planning! The meeting we had with Bex to plan was really exciting; she ensured she covered all aspects of the ceremony, including stuff we hadn’t even thought about. Then the ceremony itself… We cannot really describe how perfect the ceremony was! It fitted the vibe of the wedding perfectly. It was personal, funny, and still had some romance. Bex’s delivery was also fabulous; she is an incredible speaker! We also had hand tying which was such a special moment for us during the wedding, and our guests loved it. We had felt quite nervous pre-wedding, but once we started laughing our heads off during the ceremony and listening to our nice words about each other; we just felt so relaxed. All the guests could not stop talking about the ceremony for the whole wedding! Most people assumed she’d known us for years, and loads said they had never seen a ceremony like it, but it was the best ceremony they have ever seen. The groom’s 86 year old grandmother has even pre-booked her for when she finds that toy-boy! ;) After the wedding Bex sent us some beautiful photos, an AMAZING reel and honestly feels like a friend for life now! If you want a supplier who will become a friend, who will really get to the bottom of what makes you two tick, and by doing that will offer you the most personalised, colourful, exciting and unconventional ceremony - then book Bex! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

  Bex was an incredible part of our wedding. There are a lot of celebrants out there, but we knew we wanted someone that we gelled with and that we felt like we would have fun with. Bex was that and more. She’s super friendly and managed to chill us out and make us laugh from the start – and she’s a must follow on Instagram! She wrote our ceremony in a way that had us crying and laughing the entire way through, it was just ‘us’. She shared our stories as if she’d been a part of them and delivered them in an engaging way – our guests loved hearing them and many commented that it was the best wedding ceremony they’d ever been to. All in all, we couldn’t speak more highly of her.

  Bex was our celebrant in October 2022 and we are so so happy we found her! We live in New Zealand so had our legal ceremony earlier in the year, but headed back to the UK for a big wedding/reunion with all our family and friends after 3 years apart. Even from the other side of the world, Bex was a dream to work with. We knew she was "the one" from our very first video call - she just seemed to get us! The questionnaires she sent us to fill in were well-written and really helped us to reflect on our relationship. From these, she wrote an incredible ceremony that captured our story as well as the celebratory atmosphere we wanted at our wedding. On the day, she was chilled, friendly and a complete professional. She delivered the ceremony perfectly - people were laughing, crying and grinning the whole way through. As soon as it was over, we had so many people rush over to us to gush about how amazing the ceremony was. We just stood there looking smug, so so pleased we had booked Bex! If you are looking for a celebrant who is fun, professional, confident, and able to capture your story and your love perfectly - get Bex booked in! We cannot recommend her highly enough.

  100% BOOK BEX NOW. If you are looking for a something a little unusual but with a whole lot of love for a wedding or any kind of ceremony and you haven't heard of Bex the Celebrant then where have you been. Bex is an absolute joy, bringing the party to every stage of ceremony writing with my partner and I for our festival style Devon wedding. She was extremely patient with us when we missed a few deadlines (whoops!) but was totally understanding and absolutely delivered on the ceremony of dreams. Many of our guests (i'd say 80%; the 20% were drunk or children) commented on what a great ceremony it was and how fantastic Bex is! It was personal, it was fun and it was 100% absolutely us. All in all; Bex is extremely easy to talk to, she gets your vibe pretty quick and is dedicated to creating a ceremony you and your guests wont ever forget. Book her quickly though - she is busy!

  Bex was the best from start to end. She is such a warm and friendly person we could not have chosen anyone better to help us celebrate our marriage. Our ceremony was different - which is what we wanted - and so personal to us. Bex has such a lovely way of telling our story and all the wedding guests have commented on how great and unique our ceremony was! We loved that we could input to the ceremony but Bex’s expertise and narrative resulted in such lovely words which we will remember forever. We cannot recommend her enough and just need to have a second wedding so we can see her again. Although we are hoping we can arrange a more informal catch up very soon. Our friend as well as our celebrant.

  We chose a celebrant to help us create a bespoke wedding ceremony that suited us. We didn’t want anyone dictating to us what we had to say or how the ceremony had to be; with a celebrant we had control over the whole day so that it could be the way we wanted – telling our story to the people who mattered most to us. We chose Bex because we really liked her energy, enthusiasm and obvious passion for what she does. She sent us a really detailed questionnaire to help her chronicle our relationship from first meeting right through to the wedding day. She was really flexible and was happy to amend anything we wanted to shape the wedding ceremony how we chose. We also arranged to meet up for a drink before the day in question to get to know one another a bit better. Bex got there nice and early on the day which was one less thing to stress about! She was very friendly and professional and she made sure everything kept running smoothly even when small children got lost. We would strongly recommend Bex to anyone who wants a more personalized wedding ceremony that focuses on celebrating love and their specific relationship. We also got to literally “tie the knot” and we got to keep it afterwards too!

  I'd give 10 stars if I could! Bex was a pivotal part in our wedding and we can't thank her enough for so beautifully capturing our love story to share with our friends and family on our wedding day. Extremely helpful, supportive, and caring from first message to the moment she stood with us at the top of the aisle. We absolutely loved our personalised ceremony and our guests did, too! Thank you! Highly recommend getting her to also MC as she's fantastic at helping your day run smoothly, interacting with guests, and setting the overall mood/vibe!

  5 stars aren’t enough for Bex! We knew we didn’t want a “traditional” wedding ceremony and thought a registrar would be boring - that’s when we came across Bex on Instagram. From the first interaction, we knew Bex was the one! She made our ceremony so personal, and was such a great support during the planning process - I’m sad we don’t have an excuse to exchange GIFs anymore. Our guests all commented on how unique and authentic our ceremony was, and that they were amazed at the level of personalisation Bex managed to pull off having only known us a short time. She’s also an absolute pro at ducking out of shot for photos! Would HIGHLY recommend Bex for all your celebrant needs
