Can’t believe just had a Barney with the driver. A rotivator I hired was 2 hours late. I chased it up earlier and there was a problem but it was on its way. Van arrived and I said had there been a problem? He said there is always a problem. Complained that I had lost half the day. I was maybe expecting an apology and yes maybe a tenner off.(reasonable?) Im not a serial complainer by the way! The reply was do you want me to take it away? In view of his attitude I said yes. Not sure if he had got out of the wrong side of bed. Rang the office and the guy was nice, he was throughout our interractions. He said I could have had it longer the next day. Not possible as I was going out the next day Is it me or is it unreasonable to order something and then expect it turn up on time. The hire price itself was reasonable

Hired a grinder and AGREED price prior to collection, but only to find later after checking credit card that they had charged me extra for which I wasn't aware of for for wear of the blade... certainly not the cheapest for tool hire and I felt misled and and cheated and was advised by them there was nothing they could about it... Won't be using them again and advise people to take caution when agreeing a price and they will probably bump up the price without your knowledge.. Posted on behalf of my partner who organised the hire of the grinder...
