My Child has attended this school for some time now. Before the big move to the new building and the change of head, it was a very accommodating and caring establishment.Whilst there are members of staff who genuinely care about these children and are fantastic at what they do,a large group of the staff who teach the older children are an absolute disgrace.Bad language is used and inappropriate topics are discussed in front of vulnerable children e.g. a member of staff’s night out at the weekend. Any issues that I have raised with the headmistress regarding my child’s care have never been taken seriously and whenever I have approached her with concerning issues such as the ones listed above, she is very quick to brush it all under the carpet. I feel that these children’s welfare has taken a back seat with the head and her main priority is making the school look as up and coming as possible by concentrating on the higher functioning children who can produce positive academic results, as opposed to the more severe children who are often kept out of sight during inspections. If you are a parent and are considering sending your child to this establishment please think very carefully, a child’s mental health and general wellbeing are far more important than helping a woman look amazing in front of Ofsted.

The school doesn't tend to like having bad reviews as countless people's have been removed. As a student it is nice small compact school compaird to the chaotic hustle and bustle of secondary school (I would know) the school seems to be more and more politically correct and shove job's and collages down your throat at every turn I'm happy sitting at home smoking weed! EDIT: School called my house getting an answer as to why I wasn't in school fair enough they have to do that but my nana passed away ain't trying to get pitty points or owt but when my mother couldn't bring herself to explain why my dad did they than rang my sister to get an answer then they rang my mother a second time at what point does it sink in also school is now ringing students parents because of the reviews how childish adding more to the review certain staff got funny with with me because i was pushing a swing a certain way yeah let that sink in for a moment as if I'm not capable of pushing a swing talking about there job's on the line and using there family as an exscuse to be frank with ya I don't really care about there family. D&T is the worst lesson today the teacher didn't even speak to me or set me any work even the TA said it was wrong goes to show how commited the staff are.
