Traditionally brilliant school, usually one of the best in the area. Pupils are polite and keen on learning. Attendance is higher than average, parents are involved and interested. 371 pupils. Ofsted Feb 2018: requires improvement in 4/5 areas. Early years provision: Good. Previous inspection: Good. Recent poor Ofsted report is partially due to the many recent changes of headmaster /headmistress(3). Mrs Hatter the new head is working with an effective and engaged set of governors to ensure that the school returns to where it should be.
