    May 2022: Bettws Hall, Powys Bettws Hall had raised breeding cages that were enriched with a laying screen, scratch pad (piece of astroturf) and a piece of wood on the cage floor to act as a perch. Many birds had feather loss on the backs and rumps with small open wounds. Most of the birds had beak masks fitted and most of the females had saddles fitted. There was a dying bird in one cage with several small open wounds. This is a caption from animal aid who investigated the industrial breeding of the game birds produced for visitors to shoot. Disgraceful

    Bettws Hall is a beautiful secluded exclusive accommodation set in immaculate grounds, where everything you could want is on hand. You can cater for yourself or have a private chef if you wish, who serves up the most delicious food. The hot tubs are serviced daily, and you even have a lovely village pub within walking distance. You do need transport to get there and if you have an electric car there is even a charging point. Or for the very lucky there is a helipad. Excellent retreat highly recommended.
