Nice entrance though an old courtyard. Welcomed by enthusiastic staff to our prebooked table. Drinks available in the cocktail bar offering sprits and keg beer Meal was generally disappointing in that the smoked salmon was stretched to fit, the mains Roast Beef & Veg were not up to standard (how is it possible?) the desert a pleasant commercial sweet thing with a ball of sorbet. It was a shame as we had built up our expectations given it is a Best Western place. We appreciated the willing, friendly and professional staff who had to serve the bar, wait tables and much else.

I can not rate this hotel We booked this hotel months ago to ensure we had the accommodation we wanted whilst visiting Salisbury for a special treat for my friends 60th Birthday. Less than a week before our trip the hotel cancelled our booking, pointing us in the direction of a youth hostel. I can not tell you how disappointed we were, we struggled to find accommodation close to Salisbury central .
