GLUTEN FREE bread / toast and Porridge available at breakfast on request. I ordered poached eggs. The rest of the breakfast was buffet style hot and cold but nothing was marked up as gluten free or containing gluten. From experience catering baked beans can have gluten, hash browns often have gluten or cross contamination from cooking so I skipped the hot buffet. The fruit and yoghurt were naturally gluten free. I didn't notice any other gluten free items. It was very busy at the time we had booked, otherwise I would have asked. I think it would be a good idea to add this information either on the table menu, at the buffet counter or even better on both. I think Midlands hotels have some catching up to do with London hotels where breakfasts typically have gluten free bread, gf pastries, gf muffins, gf biscuits, gf porridge, gf beans, gf hash browns or other potatoes. Also its common in London hotels to have a gluten free areas set up with bread and a separate toaster so that you don't have to wait for the kitchen to provide it. But SOME gluten free items are certainly better than nothing and the food I had was all very lovely so no complaints in that respect. Food & drinks: Only Basic Gluten Free Options Available Toast / Porridge

Room like a sauna, no air con so windows open, kids screaming in courtyard til 9:30pm then woken by staff at 1am chatting and scraping chairs around outside setting up for a venue next day. As a top tier Best Western reward member, I'm suppose to have some bottles of water in the room or a free drink voucher. I had none, which is a first for me after staying in many BWs over the country. Wifi barely hanging on and absolutely no mobile coverage, at least on O2. Also area has no food delivery coverage. So worst BW experience I've had. This is a venue hotel for weddings and families, I wouldn't advise staying for a business trip.

My wife and I went for afternoon tea at the best Western. Our tea was lovely and was served by a pleasant and attentive waiter. The sandwiches were freshly made, as was the good assortment of cakes and no afternoon tea would be complete without warm scones, strawberry jam and cream. All in all a good afternoon out.
