    We travelled up from Swindon and checked in at 3pm the outside of the hotel was beautiful and with plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the reception staff and given our key card all very quickly. The room was very clean and had a wet room and two twin beds which were comfy and had bright white sheets, tea and coffee facilities were also provided. We had breakfast in the morning with a choice of full English and continental, the food was hot and tasty and quickly served. This is a lovely hotel which also caters for weddings etc.

    Four stars for a 3 star hotel. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, good shower and reasonably good bed - bit soft for my liking. I have seen prices at £60 to £120. Pay less than £95 and the downsides are liveable with if you have ear plugs and like waking up with the dawn. Curtains let light in, if you get a connecting room you can hear next door (watching TV at 1am) and as an old place the floors and doors creak a bit. Being in a room right next to entrance to West Wing meant you hear all the passing traffic. I would stay again for £80 or less.
