Only had lunch so didn't stay. Food & drinks: Staff very friendly and helpful. My starter was 2 very small queen scallops cut in half with a finger sized portion of bacon. £11 not very good value. Rack of lamb was two very small ribs. Nicely cooked but very poor value for money.

The excellent hotel had a relaxing time. Breakfast was plentiful at outstanding self-service, staff often rushed off their feet was a primary contributor to our comfort. Clean, tidy well decorated classic interior design. Have to mention the bed it; was so comfortable in the executive room. Rooms: Great classic design room and is beautifully kept. Nearby activities: Loved the busy market at weekends. Beautiful well-kept gardens across from the hotel. Nearby a hilltop restaurant packed with people. Safety: Excellent Food & drinks: Great choice Noteworthy details: Bed staff cleaning food

We got married here on 02.06.23 and had THE BEST day! The staff were exceptional, the hotel was beautiful, the food was incredible and the service as a whole was out of this world. Thank you so much for hosting a perfect day for us! A special shout out to Theresa our coordinator, the chef and the service staff who all did an incredible job!

The staff were really kind, always smiling and saying goodmorning. We had a two-bed family room which was very clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, a bit tricky to use the shower, but once you get the hang of it, it is a wonderful experience. We did not take advanatge of the room service so, I can't comment on that, apart from the normal daily cleaning and replenishing of the normal stuff like tea (which was expected). The TV channels were ancient and reminded me of the early to mid 90's plus they did not appear to have any good programms for children. T'was a bit nostalgic tbh...hehee We did enjoy our brief stay and would certainly book here again.

Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated for a 4 star hotel. Great location especially with Pierre Bistro and sea front located opposite. Though that big wheel is an eye sore. Rooms: Need updating
