I thought hotels were a place to sleep Instead there's a party going on until midnight, which of course is keeping me awake Everything about the hotel is fabulous, but if you have events or functions, then they should be seperate and far way from the people who are trying to sleep Absolutely ridiculous!! Food & drinks: Awful! Ordered a prawn and avocado sandwich. They had run out of avocado and the prawns tasted off. The "salad" accompaniment was a few rubbery leaves and the chips were cold.

Went for a friends retirement/birthday celebration. 20 of us for afternoon tea. Had a room to ourselves then went out onto the terrace in the sunshine. Lovely afternoon. Walkability: Lovely grounds to explore and the chilworth research centre also has lovely grounds to explore.
