Hired one of the function rooms recently for a birthday event, and it was an overall rather pleasant experience. They offer bundled prices that include catering and entertainment, which accommodate multiple party sizes. The catering service they use provide varied menus, but the food was overall a delight and disappeared shortly after being brought out due to being popular with our guests. They also offer a number of discounted rooms within bookings for functions, depending on your booking size, which is a nice touch if you have people travelling far to attend. The only gripe was that when asked to provide general music interests/preferences for the night, the DJ that was provided seemed to prefer to play his own preferences, and projected his views on music that was being requested. Not very professional. That being said, the catering and bar staff were all lovely. I'd consider using the venue for similar events again, but I would seek out my own form of entertainment. I personally didn't utilise a room, so I feel it would be unfair to provide a star rating on that aspect. My overall score was impacted by the DJ provided, bringing it down from a 5 to a 4, but overall, very pleased Food & drinks: Sublime. Albeit, party food menus can be tricky to tart up, but the catering service used here managed to achieve it. 10/10.

I was at a wedding. The DJ. Was just happy to just put on a lot of rubbish. He was just happy to Sit down behind The deck And drink and smoke....and if you have the room down the stairs and you have someone now can not walk very well there is no other way of getting down stairs. So please be aware of this if you are booking a wedding or a party,
