If I could give this driving school no stars, I would. Absolutely useless. I called Patricia in March and explained that I needed a manual driving test cancellation within the next two months as I needed to learn to drive for work, and I was assured that this was possible and within two days I had a test booked and a refresher lesson package set out (I have had over 30 hours of lessons previously but due to the pandemic I could not get a test). A week later, I arrive at my first lesson, get in the car and it's an automatic car... Patricia had booked me an automatic test and automatic lessons. I immediately call up and patiently explain the situation. A week goes by (eating into the two months I had to sort this) and luckily a manual driving teacher and test was found. Two days later I get into the manual learner vehicle, with Dennis, and I am told that my test was not on the date I was told on the phone and that it had been double booked. I then proceeded to start driving with Dennis... The car itself was totally inappropriate for a traditional manual learner: a hybrid manual with power steering. I spent the first five minutes being told off for not understanding this new vehicle and the rest very upset because apparently, although I had quite a lot of learning experience and had previously been told I was ready to pass, I was doing everything wrong and was only allowed to drive at under 5 miles an hour around a residential area. I was taught not to look in my wing mirrors at any point, that I should not indicate at certain junctions, that I didn't need to reach to biting point before moving off in the vehicle, a new steering pattern that I had previously not been instructed on, and that I was, frankly, pretty useless - Dennis was happy to reassure me of this. I have since had another driving lesson with another teacher who said she has not felt safer in a car with a learner in a long time because I drove so well. I called Patricia again and told her that I wanted to cancel the "test" as it didn't actually exist under my name and that I wanted my £150 deposit back for the driving package as it had not been delivered. After weeks of back and forth emails, I received £6. I have since chased pretty regularly and received no reply. I am shocked that this service can continue to call itself the "Best" Driving School. I am now taking further action against this company to get my money back. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. AVOID.
