A great experience sitting in a puppy training session. Very knowledgeable trainer who gave the small group positive demonstration of how consistentcy is the key. Every puppy owner has obvious positive improvement with their puppies and it seemed a good experience for everyone.

first block of 6 lessons are excellent but not worth paying for any more, mix classes up with various levels so if the others are more advanced you are onto a loser

We have a deaf puppy and therefore standard training practices have to be slightly adapted to his different needs. So far we have had a course of 4 one to one sessions with Nij and are thrilled with the results. He explains everything clearly and no question is a stupid question! We were complete beginners and will definitely be booking more sessions.

Had 4 one to one sessions with Nij for our labradoodle puppy. Found Nij to be very informative and straight talking offering great advice to help train our puppy. He showed us how to work with our puppy and explained the logic behind his training method which we found very useful. We would recommend Nij to any new puppy owners.

We took our Springer Spaniel / Border Collie cross to Nij for 4 x 1 Hr training sessions. The training given was of a very high quality and certainly benefited our puppy whose responsiveness has increased enormously. Nij was very accommodating and catered the training to our dog which was highly appreciated. We would absolutely recommend Nij as a training provider.

We had tried a couple of different dog trainers prior to going to Bertie Dog Training, without success and we were dubious about trying another, however we need not have worried as Nij used completely different techniques to those previously taught to us and we saw good results even after the first session. Nij is very straight talking and tells you exactly what your doing wrong, but he really helped us get some great results, we'd definitely recommend.
