    Trying to get through is basically a lottery. Even if you call at half 8 the receptionist will tell you there's no appointments left and to try again tomorrow. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now. Will also ask you to speak to 111 so there isn't any point in calling or speaking to your gp. My parents are vulnerable and have given up trying to reach their gp. Shocking and disgusting

    not fit for purpose. new building, not enough staff. phone lines open 08.30, 1 hour queue to be told no call backs or appointments available, ring 111. Junior doctors on strike today, so they schedule a training day... Management is amateur and chaotic. I doubt it can get much worse than this. Anywhere.

    Absolutely shocking! Spoke to a receptionist yesterday as I’d seen on patient access that my blood results were abnormal, she told me that GP no longer contacts patients with abnormal results. I was told to call back at 8.30am the next day to get a call back from a doctor. I rang at 8.30am on the dot and got a message saying they are at capacity and to call 111. Meadowcroft used to be such a lovely surgery with great doctors, the doctors are still amazing but the chances of trying to see one without ringing 111 are minimal. When I tried to book a routine appointment, I had to book 6-7 weeks in advance. The system is clearly broken.

    I am very disappointed ☹️ with this surgery it’s been more than a week I am trying every morning on the dot 8:30am as soon as it opens to call the surgery for a appointment for myself. The call is on hold for an hour then I am caller number 22 and when connected the receptionist says all appointments are gone for the day. How is it possible for all the other people to get through to the call but not me even though I called instantly at the time surgery opens that too every single day!! On top the receptionist was so rude instead of listening to my complaint she put the phone down on me.

    Such a poor service. Calling for an appointment keeps you on the line until eventually one gives up. There is staff there. I have been there in person and I saw with my own eyes that staff just doesn't answer the phone. They can't be bothered. Is this how my tax money is spent? This just opens the doors to the privatisation of healthcare

    Awful service! Extremely long waits on the calls for the phone to go dead when you get to the front of the queue. If you walk in you are greeted with very unfriendly reception. You can no longer request a face to face appointment and are just told to call 111and they will contact the practise which seems such a bizarre process and the use for additional staff resources?! . If the practise is truly that understaffed then I think the practise should close as it’s not providing a suitable enough service and I’m worried for the local community patients safety. If the governing body do not intervene soon I'm seriously worried of a fatality of someone venerable that gives up trying to seek the required care.

    Don’t see point in closing for staff training when there’s obviously not many staff! I only needed to alter a phone number and on phone over 30 in queue for 40 minutes! Went round to surgery in the end! A huge new building! Why? Still never any appointments either! Ridiculous closing this afternoon for staff training!! Couldn’t make it up!!

    Rang up on a Thursday. Was ringing before 08:30 just in case. Phone lines didn’t open till 08:36. Then I was somehow already over 30th in the queue. I was then told they had no more appointments and I’d have to come in on a different day, before 08:30 to get a ticket (like a deli) then get called up. I find the centre on Apple Maps, which I then find out is 1.5 miles away from where it actually is and the address is completely wrong on Apple Maps. I finally get there at 08:30 and am told I’m gonna have to wait to talk to anyone at reception until they’ve seen everyone with a ticket. I walked out because there were over 20 people there already and didn’t have endless time to sit and wait. I loved meadowcroft surgery, it was great. This is the first time I’ve tried to speak to a gp at berrycroft. It might be a bigger building but the number of reception staff seems to be the same. I’m going to move gp. This place is the pits and I would give it 0 stars if I could.

    Staff are unhelpful, rude, disgusting and refuse appointments to people that desperately need them. They give wrong information- they impersonate medically trained professionals in doing so! Management are no better, they think that this behaviour is perfectly acceptable! An absolute shambles of a surgery! If registered here you might as well say that your GP is 111 because all they ever tell you to do is call 111! I’ve never felt so let down than by this team of feral people!
