Disgusting company. They send one carer to do a double up call, which by law requires 2 carers as it is not safe to hoist a client on your own. They are unreliable and dishonest. They have no care for anyone, all they care about is money. All the good staff are leaving as are the clients. The company is falling apart. I would beg for you to not work with this company, the thought of having a vulnerable person left under their care makes me want to cry. It’s terrible. They do not deserve the money nor do they deserve the clients. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Please, avoid this company at all costs. The carers aren’t the problem, it’s the so called ‘team’ in the office. The company is horrible, all past reviews that are anything above 3 stars are from previous workers from the office. None of the good reviews are genuine. They do not care about their staff or their clients. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this company, please keep your loved one in mind and stay away.

Since changing the name over to Berkeley home care from home care preferred. There has been a serious decline in care, reliable staff and committed people attending to clients needs. Im very disappointed with the service and wish Ken would come back and help this company out. The charge is unbelievable for what we are receiving and unfortunately we will have no choice but to potentially change care providers. Please sort your staff out.
