Small site on the back of a working sheep farm. 2 toilets and a new shower+toilet room. No separate chemical disposal. Water is a tap on the end of a flexible pipe. About 8 hook ups. Good stuff: Location is very rural views are great. Dark skies. Unlikely to be big caravans or camper vans on site. Working farm with lost of sheep and lambs. Owners helpful when available. Very reasonable pricing. Bad stuff: There is lots of mud if wet. Bring wellies you will need them to get to the loos, shower and pretty much anywhere else. Access was difficult with our small caravan, not helped by the large amount of junk at the farm and a livestock trailer parked right where we need to turn for the entrance. If wet 4 wheel drive will be essential, (we got stuck in our landrover discovery after having to drive through the farm because the livestock trailer was blocking the exit). The shower is great but no mop provided to clear up the inevitable mud. Not recommended for larger caravans or larger campers.

It was windy and raining when we arrived. Our car got stuck. We were quickly towed on to our pitch by the farmer's daughter (I think!) Great spot for visiting Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby

Lovely campsite on a working farm. Slightly sloping motorhome and caravan field with ehu, water and waste point. Wonderful views of the sea down to Scarborough. Walled camping field with toilets. Shower and farm shop coming soon according to our friendly host. A short walk to Ravenscar village with two cafes and a hotel. Great walks along the coastal path or on to the moors and forest. Ideal for cycling to Scarborough or Whitby along the Cinder Track old railway line.
