Disappointed to say the least!! Paid over £50 for two of us to not even eat half of what we ordered. Too much curry powder in everything. Food wasn't enjoyable at all! Wouldn't order again

I have been ordering food from Bengal for a while now, probably around 20 Deliveroo’s at around £50 a pop which is always been great value for money as we always get 2. Meals out of the portion sizes. We rated it as one of the best authentic curry takeouts we have had and also recommended to a lot of friends who want a really tasty dish. Always deliver fast with a smile 😊 BUT Sadly the last couple of times have been disappointing, I’m not sure if they have a new chef or changed the way they cook but the food has been super bland. No seasoning and the chicken was super tough, I think when you have to add your own salt to a dish it’s not worth buying. Sad to not be buying from here any longer as they were so great for so long!

Been ordering from them since 2010, never disappointed with food and delivery. The best Indian TA in Hatfields and surroundings.

Called the restaurant twice and the first time they didn’t pick up the next time I called I explained my delivery was expected at 17:50. I called at 17:52 on the 4th December and the person I spoke to was very rude! The just eat still said it was on its way so I was calling for an update and the guy hung up the phone and said that he doesn’t have time to argue. He was so rude and disrespectful and told me to pay additional money to get my food delivered. Never have I experienced this level of disrespect from a buisness!

Placed an order via deliveroo for Bengal spices and the food never arrived on 28 November. Called to discuss it and staff member said he has time to deal with my complaint. Called deliveroo and they are just passing buck. An absolute waste of time and money!!! The person I spoke to was very rude!

Sorry, i can't see where or why the great reviews are for! Was absolutely a waste of hard earned money. Ordered a madras that came as dry as a nun's bits, a balti that was dry as constipated dog (also looked like it) ! Only tasty thing was the sag aloo!
