A very disappointing class. We cancelled after 6 weeks because our daughter's gymnastics skills did not improved at all. There are 3 problems: 1 they receive minimal instruction. Most of the time, they are left to their own devices and, at this age (6), get bored and distracted. 2. they don't get appropriate supervision, often being left to faff about taking off shoes/socks 5-10mins into the class or being left left to decide for themselves whether to participate in the warm-up. 3. we never observed any of the instructors give a demonstration (observation and repetition is one of the most effective methods of instruction) so have to ask if the instructors employed by Benchmark in this class are gymnasts?

This is the most hateful gymnastics club we have ever been to!!! Avoid!!!! They don’t care at all about the gymnasts and they are bullying me with repeated emails threatening me after our first day!!! They won’t answer the phone or emails when I needed help either!!! These people are nothin g but hateful and uncaring!!! The very best is chelsea gymnastics where my other son attends! I wish I could put my older son in chelsea gymnastics but he doesn’t take older kids. Benchmark gymnastics treated us so bad on our first day. I’m reporting them to British gymnastics association for bullying me! They are also really stupid and can’t figure out that my son already had a British gymnastics membership and keep sending me emails threatening me saying that he doesn’t have one but they are just extremely ignorant and trying to blame us for all their errors but they messed with the wrong person. I’m going to report everything after the way they treated us on the first day. Let’s see if they even have the balls to respond to my review. I deserve an apology. These people are disgusting!

Brilliant staff and so warm, kind and caring towards the young gymnasts in their care. Great classes, and holiday club. My children have developed so much confidence, skill and happiness being part of Benchmark. Good communication via email and always inclusive and helpful. Been attending since 2017.

Both my children have been members of benchmark for a while now and I couldn’t be happier. The girls really enjoy the lessons and the coaches are fantastic. There is a range of equipment and structure of the lessons are brilliant. I would and do highly recommend benchmark.
