Ben has been superb throughout our extension. From the offset, he listened to our ideas and worked with us to create something that we now can’t wait to build. He came up with practical solutions we would never have thought of and produced a design that is both striking and cost conscious. Ben worked with third parties to help us achieve our design within our budget and the whole planning application process was smooth. What was particularly helpful was how Ben helped shaped the internal layout. He laid out furniture in a way that helped us envisage how we might use the space. Our builders found his plans detailed and clear, again helping us achieve quotes that were accurate. By the end of the process, we coined the phrase ‘in Ben we trust’ whenever we weren’t sure how to proceed with any issue. We cannot recommend Ben enough for his client care and attention to detail.

After reseaching a few architects and even visting the Home Building Show, I stumbled accross Ben's website. From the first moment I met Ben, I instantly new he was the right Architect for me. Firstly he understood my detailed brief and especially made time to understand my Hindu religous beliefs and needs relating to Vastu Shastra. Secondly his personaility was calm and reflective which I felt was an important trait which was needed in my project. Thirdly his knowledge was remarkable especially around creating an energy efficient home. His fee prosposal was clear and consice, with no hidden additions, which is cruicial when dealing with any house building project. I have already recomended him to a friend and I will not hesiate to continue recomendaing him going forward. I wish him continued success going forward.

We spent a lot of time researching architects before making our choice and we couldn’t have been more delighted with our decision to work with Ben. Initially, we felt he would be the right architect for us because he clearly had original design flair, but also recognised the need for a design to be practical and livable. However, as we went through the architectural design process, we were able to benefit from so much more. Our house was built in the 1930s and it was important to us for our renovation to blend seamlessly with the existing house. Having seen some of Ben’s previous work, we felt confident that he would design something sensitive to the original house, whilst meeting the needs of a 21st century family. This requirement demanded more ingenuity than just ‘adding a box on the back’, but Ben rose to the challenge with a practical solution, which improves the house from both inside and out, whilst retaining all the original character. Throughout the process, from discussing our confused ideas to creating a design we love and engaging a builder, Ben guided us through. He was calm, patient and an excellent listener. He was always open to our ideas and thoughts and we benefited greatly from his expertise and insights. It felt like we worked as a team. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Ben drew up and project managed the conversion of our loft into a bedroom and bathroom, along with a brilliant redesign of our ground floor, adding a stunning extension to the back of our house. From our first contact with Ben, till the day work had finished, we couldn’t fault anything, from the insightful design, to the meticulous planning and gentle manner with which we were dealt with, all by Ben. What started out as an idea to take our kitchen from being situated in the smallest room in the house, to the bright open area we now have, all this came into its own when the unforeseen happened. These last two Covid years spent in our home (a family of four adults), has only accentuated the success of Ben’s design!
