Poor quality. Looks good on the surface, but faults soon show. Thin walls, poorly fitted units such as baths, leaks from pipes, cracks in ceiling, internet points not fitted correctly. All happened with the first year. Some was repaired, but then gone wrong again later. They never finish the site!! Nearly 4 years of living here, and still have to look at a container, constant work vehicles and orange barriers and cones everywhere. Poor planning for communal areas. Not enough green space, concrete jungle which only exacerbates the echoing off noise from flats. No parking aloud, which is fine, but essentially created a big concrete car park outside the flats. Many Commercial units below the flats are yet to be Let, and show no signs of anyone setting up business. Unfortunately, this undoubtedly means many more months, or potentially years, before the housing area is no longer a building site and can be enjoyed properly.

We moved in to our new build flat on 12th May 2017. The tiles were the wrong colour , our bedroom windows fell out when we opened them and our thermostats were wired up wrong. I had numerous call outs and various days off work for the builders to come back and sort these issues. Our buzzer has never worked despite having about 4 callouts for it. It gets better.... our block has now had a massive leak and been without constant running for 13 days. The plumbing been done is so poor no other plumber (we’ve had 3) know how to fix or can even get the parts. Bellway won’t look at it because it’s over the 2 year period! They employ cowboy builders to build on the cheap! DO NOT BUY A BELLWAY HOUSE! We have friends in redrows and Taylor wimpeys who have never had a problem !

Poor quality builds. Done on the cheap. Look nice, but it ends there. Buy from them and you will be forced to pay management fees for life to crooked and dishonest management companies. Forget ever having an extension or loft conversion on your house too!
