By Jove! What a place. It's hands down the best Italian restaurant in the North of England. The tempura prawns were crispy and light, the carbonara an indulgent but exquisite affair. The cocktails, well you must to try the 75 and Negroni! The staff were charming, the decor the best in Wakefield. If you like Tiramisu then this is the dulce in decorum. Clearly we are in the Belucci fanclub!

Absolutely amazing service and beautiful food, the Cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had and the food is by far the best Italian in the city. Decor is fabulous and the staff are so lovely! Will absolutely be back soon :)

We had bottomless brunch here. Food was amazing and definitely the best I have had at a bottomless. The drinks were proper drinks and free flowing! Decor Beautiful. Service fab.. there really was no negatives at all. I totally recommend and will be back.❤️

Booked table for 10 people at 6pm on Mother's Day two weeks in advance. Informed on arrival that table was not yet ready due to other customers having not left yet. Eventually got seated. Waitress came to take orders and upon taking the orders then informs us that there is no pizza or lasagne (understandable as appreciate it had likely been busy due to Mother's day) so we proceeded to change our orders. After 20 minutes of waiting, waitress returned to tell us there was no garlic bread which we had ordered several of to share between the table. We agreed to miss starters and go straight to main course. It then took a further hour for food to begin being served, 1 hour and 40 minutes from us arriving at our booking time. The restaurant was not busy whilst we were there. Meals were brought out with several minutes between members of our party being served and one of us did not receive his meal until around 30 minutes after the rest of us, by which time everyone else had finished. We did ask to speak to the manager who told us he would 'sort something out for us'. He subtracted the cost of the significantly delayed meal but offered nothing else. At this point our waitress was also aware that we were unhappy and I witnessed her asking her colleague to ask if we wanted anything else as she did not want to approach the table again (even after we made it clear that we could recognise that the issues we were having were not necessarily her fault). The second waitress then came to us to offer dessert and we were informed of further unavailable items on the menu upon ordering. At this point we paid the bill and left without ordering desserts. As a family we were extremely disappointed with the service especially when the meal was for a special occasion. We feel that there was no apology or acknowledgement of the fact we had to wait 100 minutes before the first plate of food arrived and even then not all of us received our food for a further 30 minutes. I can understand that menu items may no longer be available when days have been busy but this should be made clear prior to taking orders especially when such a significant portion of the menu is affected. Whilst the food was lovely, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had and we will not be returning.
