    Consistently excellent service from Kia in Northampton. Whether it has been an annual service, MOT or most recently a warning light query, all have been dealt with to a high standard with any issues communicated and rectified swiftly. Special mention goes to Shanaya Lynas the Senior Service Advisor, who has ensured that I was a kept up to date with all progress. So friendly, efficient, knowledgeable of all things KIA and always has time for a chat.

    Returned my car for an engine management light under warranty in March. Diagnostics said it was something to do with over reving. Within 6 hours the engine management light was back on. Back in to Bells in April for 3 days to replace a turbo actuator. Onto May engine management light back on, this time to adjust rods in the turbo. To my amazement one of the service team then tells me we unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it seems to have solved the issue. Today a complete loss of turbo power. My car has been off the road for 10 and a half days in the past 3 months and as a driving instructor has cost a lot in lost sales only to find the same associated problems are still occurring. Neither Bells nor Kia have offered any sort of financial compensation or good will gesture. Their communication and advice of what course of action for me to take has been poor. When I said I was looking fir a new car and Nat go elsewhere they did nothing to keep my business. As a director of a small franchise I will also be advising my franchisees of my disappointment. They clearly don't need sales that much. Hugely annoyed and disappointed.

    Yesterday was my first visit to Bells Kia, and my last! I witnessed a member of staff arguing with a customer, who was only trying to get their car dealt with, quite shocking behaviour. Bells Kia wanted to charge me over £400 to dismantle my sunroof to tell me what the problem is, and if it is covered under warranty, this is on top of the £68 they charge to book a vehicle in, which they did reduce to £50, because they could not tell me what was wrong. Even if I agreed to pay the £400 to look at the sunroof, there are no sunroof, or parts available in the UK. I love Kia's but will avoid Bells Kia at all costs, there is another Bells Kia in Bedford, which I would say is worth the drive. Overall, very disappointing! Edit 07-06-2023 I have just received a phone call from the service manager at Bells Kia in Northampton to discuss the issues raised in my earlier review. The phone call was very professional and covered the points raised above. I now have my car booked in for next month to address the sunroof issues, and the customer service issue was addressed. I will update my review after my appointment, and if the conversation I have had with the service manager is an indication of the usual level of service, I will be changing my review from a 1 star, as all businesses have 'bad days', it is how they deal with problems that matter. The phone call from the service manager was very much appreciated.
