After extensive research I chose Belgarum. After 3 Agents then visiting our house, they were the clear winner. - not the cheapest but very competitive. A local business owned by John Leeson, who was a refreshing change from the others - a warm genuine man who I feel told the facts without flannel! He runs a tight ship with everybody in the office knowing exactly what is happening. It is all done 'in house' which is not the case with all agents. When we had a major blip with our sale, his input was excellent. Normally I ignore requests for reviews, but this team deserve it!

Belgarum acted on behalf of the sellers of the property we were buying. But we did not find that they unfairly favoured the sellers. They were always friendly, helpful and forthcoming. When it looked as though the chain might collapse because a mortgage offer further down the chain was going to expire, they arranged for the tenancy to terminate earlier than scheduled and helped us to apply pressure to the solicitors.
